Phil, you got me to wondering about my numbers, lol. The old rule of thumb is 3/4 kw to 1 hp. So I looked it up and it's not far off.

1 hp(I) = 745.699872 W = 0.745699872 kW

The amount of fuel comes from 2 3406B cats (850hp) compounded together on a draw works. That's old school though, lol.
