The S7, S7R and S5S concept were retained by Hancock Park Associates. In 2009, Mike & Joe Shields (MJ Acquisitions) purchased a pool of press, executive and mule vehicles as well as an inventory of Saleen parts and assets. HPA kept the S7, S7R and S5S.

Saleen Automotive claims the assets purchased by MJA.

ASC, an HPA company, used the S5S concept as a marketing tool for their automotive design services. Less than 12 months ago the S5S roller (now wearing ASC branding) could be seen on display at various MI area events.

A forced bankruptcy of HPA held Saleen Inc was completed with little fanfare about two years ago.

This auction represents the final material from the HPA, ASC/Saleen era.

Auction not related nor does it impact Saleen Automotive in Corona, CA.

The S5S Concept was an ASC project and was never to be the "next" Saleen supercar by Steve Saleen.

Value of the S5S is negligible, since the proposal was based on the old Ford GT chassis. So, it's an exterior design right. No engineering or chassis.
