40 million treatments and no negative side effects. This is an amazing safety record.

I had not seen the 2014 Dr. Rawe "Case for OTC Shortwave Therapy" that is referenced in the interview. It has some eye opening statistics about pain in the USA:

* Up to 100 million people suffer from chronic pain each year
* $635 billion is spent to treat chronic pain each year
* 107,000 Arthritis patients are hospitalized each year due to use of NSAID pain relievers like ibuprofen (Motrin)
* 16,500 Arthritis patients die each year due to use of NSAID pain relievers like ibuprofen (Motrin)
* Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is responsible for one half of all Acute Liver Failures
* Deaths caused by Opioid Pain Killers have quadrupled in the last 15 years
