more interesting DD -- a past post here..
Saleen is coming back... rebuilding everyday. In my opinion this is his family legacy..

So if his intentions were not to rebuild, why come back? Molly doesn't need the money, she has her own car career? Steve is still a Millionare? To me it sounds like Steve cared about the family name, and stands behind the cars he builds. If I'm right, he is going to drive this company back up.. But the truth is its very difficult when everybody is bashing and has doubts.

So why not look at everything that has been done!!!! I see progress daily!!! Saleen is rebuilding his empire, just like Trump did. Anybody who has failed comes back stronger. And the more I read on ihub the more I understand why he is taking a controlling interest. Cars are his passion, building cars that make people go "hell yeah, thats a Saleen".. thats what drives him. People should always do in like what makes them happy, with the mindset of "If I had to work for free and do what I love, what would it be?" Steve has done just that, he works for free.. We have this whole company wrong!!! The world wants Saleen to make money, we all do... But its more about rebuilding and making cars that people love and have faith in. When you build a quality product, the money will come!! relationships will be fixed. Its all about motives.. Greed is 1 thing I can honestly say Steve Saleen is not about!!!! There is nothing that has ever showed that under his watch!!!

Nope, it's not an April Fool's Day joke. Steve Saleen announced today that he's regained control of the Saleen brand, five years after "retiring" (a move seen by many as more like "pushed out") from the eponymous company he founded and which filed for bankruptcy protection just a few years later.

"In 2007, it was a difficult decision to resign from Saleen, Inc.", said Steve Saleen in a press release. "But I knew it had to be done in order to preserve the Saleen brand and to ensure the authenticity and high performance that our customers had come to expect."

Moving forward, Saleen detailed that the Saleen registry will be updated to include all SMS Supercars branded vehicles and all warranty and repair work will still be done by his company — even if he changed the name
