OMG this is beyond exageration:

Only difference is musk was unknown and made something of himself

This is the only difference? Really? Can't think of anything else?

First of Elon Musk is an engineer and programmer. Steve Saleen was a racer and mybe I'll give him designer, but certainly not an engineer.

Musk has a degree in physic. Saleen has a degree in business.

Musk founded 4 succesfull companies and is the largest shareholder of a fifth one.

Saleen founded a company that went bankrupt, went to be CEO of second company that went bankrupt and now he funded and is CEO of a company on the brink of bankruptcy.

Musk is now 43 year old. Saleen is 66 year old. At 28 Musk sold his first company, Zip2, for $300 million. This alone out-does all of Steve Saleen's entire business career. Then Musk started the first online payment service, Paypal, which got sold to ebay for $1.5 billion before Musk left. CEO of Tesla now worth north of $30 billion, CEO of SpaceX now woth $12 billion. Largest shareholder of SolarCity now worth $5 billion.

Elon Musk and Steve Saleen have nothing in common other than being both white males.
