Ok...I'm going to get all conspiracy theory here:

I'm starting to think that Tony is on to something with the misinformation except for CE and not Med Dev. Engel producing a prototype part in Med Dev could be deliberate to throw everyone off of the trail of the Apple 5c metal project that Rige mentioned.
