Intentional or not, it may finally get Apples attention. Interesting point.
This situation with Pegatron might actually slow the process down if Apple does not sign. Pegatron and others may be reluctant to sign a license agreement knowing that the IP can be challenged for years on end with no royalty payments. The system encourages infringement and delay by paying the legals in charge of the show.
