So what makes ELTP a good investment?

As opioids become harder to abuse, heroin use (and heroin deaths) increases. Unfortunately, heroin is as pure and as cheap as it ever has been. Fortunately, that problem is not for Elite to solve.

Obviously the question of what makes ELTP a good investment is different from why bother with ADF if abusers will simply turn to street heroin. The good vs. bad investment question is what gets argued here daily, so I'll address the other question, from a medical perspective.

As physicians, we have more high-quality tools to treat chronic pain than ever before. From a diagnostic perspective, we can map out an exact mechanical source of pain with high-quality imaging, such as MRI. We can determine specific nerve involvement with EMG. We can address some types of pain with procedures such as epidurals, nerve blocks, and intra-articular injections. Orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures have become precise in their targets, which minimizes potential complications. Non-opioid medications for chronic pain are better than ever- Cymbalta, Neurontin, Lyrica, even SSRI's like Lexapro are proven safe and effective.

But the simple fact is that non-opioid options for pain management are not effective or have limited effectiveness for some patients. And opioids work. They must be used responsibly and appropriately, but they work. Everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue health and happiness. It is well-known that many doctors refuse to use these medications due to fear of abuse and diversion, and that is a travesty. Without ADF, honest and hard-working Americans are punished for the crimes of others by the under-treatment of their chronic pain. And that is why we bother with ADF opioids.
