The confederate flag stands for hangings, beatings, separating families, no money, and even worse abuses... .. The US Flag, is FOR ALL of our country ... the cflag people put their fist up in the face of our Flag, and didn't want to be a part of the entire country anymore ...really they sound just like the teabaggers of today.
Now, to be clear what on earth is wrong with that flag being a part of our history but not in your face part of it? It still hurts people and quite frankly you're the the nicest/smartest guy I've even seen defend it . .;) .........I'm sure that If I was born and living there at that time .. who knows? .. I can't imagine it, I just can't . .but who really knows? Self Interest and money win out way too much of the time.
You honor the flag for one thing .. a majority of others honor that cflag because it stands for white supremacy. If you disagree . .make your case. I'd love to hear how it was for something other than money for yours and nothing for them.... all because you could, buy and sell a human being.
