NHMD has not divulged any costs so I will take a stab. Anyone with more accounting experience please feel free to jump in.

Without finding exact numbers it appears that the Kiosk space for that area is over $2000 per month.(I hear Irvine may be much more)

California's minimum wage is $9.00 per hour.

Here are the Mall's hours:

Hours: Mon-Fri 10am to 9pm
Sat 10am to 7pm
Sun 11am to 6pm

That is 71 hours per week.

I am thinking they will hire a bunch of part timers and not pay any benefits.


Annual rent = $24,000
Wages = $33,228
TOTAL $57,228


That equates to $157 in profits just to break even.

Per the postings the net margin is $1.00 so using pancakes they need to sell 157 cans per day to break even.
