For the record. The Apple Lightning connector is dead. The latest Macbook shipped with USB type C. Read up on USB 3.1 Type C. This connector will rule the world in a couple years. The type C with PD can delivery 100 watts of power. The lighting connecter cannot. You can go back and read my previous post on this, but trust me this is connector is a big deal. 100 watts, 10 Gbps, + video all in one cable. Huge possibilities here.

It would be great to get Liquid Metal in this connector. I hope Paul is working on it. It is a long shot at best, though.
