3.5M people in AB, so if the "Notley Crew" goes for it there could be a few sales. On the other hand, AB has the most bureaucratic healthcare system in Canada, so I am surprised they had even a moment to look at this. A newspaper article this week said Notley planned to maintain the mass centralized bureaucracy (HQ is in Edmonton) she inherited, which is so bad that rural hospitals have had waits of more than half a year for up to 6 officials in HQ to sign off on basic items like lights and fixing toilets.
I know a local Edmonton company who had a device they presented to AHS - over a year, they had numerous meetings, with more bureaucrats showing up and requesting more useless info each time - not that this proves anything in relation to mzei, but the company gave up after a year.
