DCVax-Direct is a very powerful but incredibly safe therapy. It can cause pseudo-progression as much as 80% (which would normally qualify as real progression) but then the same tumor shrinks smaller than what it originally was. There are challenges created for those designing the phase II trials for such a powerful but safe therapy. I think they are up for the task.

Stable disease was achieved within 8 weeks for 86% percent of patients on method B. Method B will be the only method used from here on out. 100% of patients who achieved S.D. by week 8 on method B are still alive (anywhere from 9 months or more thus far).

I anticipate the next whole group data we will hear about will be tumor response (S.D., P.R. and possibly C.R.). This will likely be after most pseudo-progression responses are resolved. The last four patients are also going through some evaluations.
