Peg, I have a different take. I think Ash Carter opened up 'pandora's box'. I have heard his message repeated in different ways .. well for one, two times this morning .. but before today, I've heard it heck almost every day and maybe twice. I believe everyone knows it's a failure over there. BIG TIME. the only question I have is Can we keep them over there while keeping them out of here and our allies countries? I don't mean just keeping out one or two . .but I mean keep them from doing what they do! . .Go somewhere 'they're not' and throw bombs on the civilian populations? .. CAN we keep that from happening here without engaging them? .. I don't know! I really don't. They appear to want to get in here real bad and I disagree! I don't want one foot across our border! .. . And don't even mention the fact that they do have aircraft and I expect they will be getting drones too... I put nothing past them as I've watched them since we all have been watching them .. .I just don't know. of course, the only other thing is to just set up the whole deal over there, like we did in Germany .. didn't we? ... put permanent forces in etc... hell! I don't know, I only know WE don't want them HERE! And we don't want our loved ones over there .. so .. What??? should we do??? it's just so damn overwhelming for our country. I'm not sure if putting the blankets over our heads is going to work?
