Believe it or not, Saleen and Greentech are not permitted to export Ford Mustangs, Tesla's, Chevy Camaro's, Dodge Challegers or Barracuda's to China. This is illegal and will be shut down by these American Automotive OEM's. By U.S. law, Ford, Chevy and Chrysler all sell their cars only through licensed dealer network's.
The fact that Saleen slaps a name decal on the windshield does not bypass all the laws around exporting American cars abroad. Saleen received a notice letter from Ford Motor Company which lays the groundwork for a lawsuit against Saleen. Tesla is not going to allow Saleen to sell their cars in China before they even have a chance to do so. This is s ticking time bomb for Saleen and Greentech. It's just a matter of time before there are court orders blocking the export of these vehicles.
This is just a PR campaign to pump the stock. Ask yourself this, Saleen is only producing eight cars per month. Why do they need to export them to China to sell them? It's all a PR hyped promotion to grab headlines and to provide junk advertising material for the pumpers on the investor websites.
Saleen has not the resources to produce the vehicles or the licenses to sell them in Asia or Europe.
It's just a big joke.
