As clearly described by Fredvestor there is no "shorting" of SLNN stock.
I have zero shares of SLNN and have never purchased even one share of this junk status equity.
I invest significantly in real companies that actually produce real products with a profit incentive (not SLNN).
I participate on this board to warn other OTCBB Investors when I notice an obvious scam .
SLNN is a classic text book Pump & Dump operation. Saleen's brand was bought and paid for by two previous deep pocket investors (HPA & Tony Johnson) when Saleen was actually a real business with a rotten to the core CEO. The $60M of losses Steve managed to accomplish did create a brand name but no company underneath it. A perfect set up for a Pump and Dump scam orchestrated by David Weiner, Fred Knoll, Steve Saleen, David Fiene and KBM Worldwide, (Seth Kramer). Reverse Merger of a shell OTCBB dormant company.
Big short term loans to Saleen with high interest rates and deep discounted conversation rates with non-dilution terms that are set up to multiply the equity ownership of the lenders. Next step, a Massive public relations and misleading misrepresented information spread on investment websites by people with special interests to attract buyers for the converted shares to be sold to .

All of the elements of a Pump and Dump scheme are in place at SLNN.
Linking the participants to the scam is really pretty easy. Follow the shares, follow the cash.
Any profit realized by these participants from the sale of SLNN shares to the other OTCBB shareholders may be short term and may end up with criminal indictments, fines and potential civil liability which may takes years to resolve through the courts. The participants will need a team of lawyers to fight off the SEC and the civil cases. That will not be cheap. Need to ask if the risk is worth the reward?
