No one has stated that you delete OT posts on a regular basis - just the ones that suit you, reagrdless of content. The Ship High In Transit post(s) were, by Matt's own words -- "off topic". He said nothing about vulgarity or cussing -- just Off Topic and I agree, it WAS off topic. The fact that the abbreviation for Ship High In Transit has metamorphasized into a term that is now offensive to you and the old timer SHOULD have nothing to do with the history lesson. But, regardless of the content of the post, it was offensive to YOU and therefore got the blade. With the possible exception of rooster, I'll bet there was not a single person here who read that post who was offended in any way. Anyway, prior to your tenure, an "OT" at the beginning of a message was all that was necessary in order to convey a thought, message or even an occasional joke. Now it's an issue. Me oh my, what's a poster to do.

A little bit about the "cussing" that you and the old timer seem to be hung up on. Yes, there is a little bit of that going on here. We've got folks here who've lost thousands and thousands of dollars. Are they entitled to tee off from time to time - I say yes, they are. Further, in the overall scheme of things, this is still one of the more benign boards on Ihub insofar as "cussing" is concerned. Rooster tries to make it sound like as if you spew an expletive deleted, you're a "macho" heathen. I wonder what he said when he took that fall a couple of years back. I wonder if, in his ultra-pure mind, there is EVER a reason to swear that is acceptable and understandable. Rooster?
You've gone to the principal and reported me as being a bad guy because that is your (or the old timer's) perception of me. Now, when a lot of posters indicate that perhaps their perception of YOU is less than rosey, you "cry" that it's unfair. You simply don't seem to get it. It's not the cussing nor the OT that bothers you, it's people using their God-given right to express dissatisfaction with the progress of their investment that eats you alive. When a derogatory remark is made against one of your heroes, out comes either you or the feathered one to defend their honor to the death. But, when things get a little too dicey for you to defend an indefensible situation, you use your veto power. If you'd just let people alone and inject a verbal warning, if necessary, instead of deleting or complaining to admin, trust me, there would be no problem. Walter can take care of himself. This company will live or die on what HE does, not you, me or this information outlet.
