My ears are a burning! Howdy Mide, how are you ? I figure you were refering to me so I will respond. BTW - Please don't take my rant today personal - that's why it was not a reply but a 'Public Post'.

As I mentioned yesterday, I agree with you and Low.

Please see my post #15565 dated 2/17/06, or maybe you've read it already as it seems very aligned with yours and Low's.

But I will respond as I do feel 'called out'; IT IS NEVER BLACK AND WHITE which some people really really need it to be (Bean counters sign in here please). I don't personally need the whole picture black and white - but since 2/17 feel that it has been. I cannot say enough about the Dumas letter which yes I will mention again,

I could go on and on but then I'd become boring to myself and others so I leave with this.

DOS sucked! A piece of crap program. Gates didn't have anything when he told IBM that he did, (was Microsoft public then? anyone) and he paid someone, I can't remember if they worked for AT&T or what but this guy took a copy of C at the time (which was probably more B and Dennis Ritchie's to begin with) and he stripped it down to be single user and changed a few things (forward slash to backward and vice-a-versa) and a bunch of other stuff. I think Gates paid him $50 and showed it to IBM the next day as his. What a dink because DOS sucked and always has - but it was it's short comings and Gates vision that really mattered!! (And while we are on the subject. Jobs stole the whole GUI from Xerox). Do you think they told the shareholders? I mean come on, let's get some sense here. We don't have to know every little detail esp. if they don't come to fruition. And I believe that Huff believes Huff, and is every bit of a salesman as he is an engineer (I bet he could talk a dog off a meat truck!), and I know that all those (good) sales guys believe what comes out of their mouths more than anyone, that's why they are good (and needed for companies!). So imagine that last yr he was new, excited, thought the Strat was going to fly by Sept. but then got into it (after a PR or two) and ran into some red tape. What's he going to do - PR that?!! No everyone would complain that's what brought the price down. So you learn and move on. I don't care if he dangled a carrot in my face cause "caveat emptor" and I believe this company will soar.

Again I don't disagree with you about the lack of some information but I try to sit back and see what happens. Let the company work. Just because we all smell a big payoff and have invested doesn't give us the right to hassle. Let me ask everyone here who bitches and complains and calls the company out 3 times a week. How many other company stocks do you own?? Are you this involved with them? Because you should be, same rights, privelages apply with them too. Let's keep the offices and mgmt honest but also not go off half cocked every other day.

There, now I've done it, I've bored myself. g-nite
