Antisecretory factor (AF) is a recently discovered natural protein which is secreted into the plasma and other tissue fluids. Clinical evidence has linked increased or normalised AF and increased anti-inflammatory activity. This has already been illustrated in inflammatory diseases such as Gastroenteritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) & Meniere’s Disease, as well as Diarrhoeal diseases.

Salovum is prepared to contain high levels of Antisecretory Factor (AF). It is classified as a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) and should only be consumed following consultation with a doctor.

Salovum powder can be stirred into a glass of cold water or fruit juice preferably with pulp. If preferred, Salovum can be sprinkled onto sandwiches or used as an additional ingredient with other food and because it is gluten-free, Salovum is suitable for those with gluten intolerance.
