The meaning behind so many things can be described as relative. It may sound pithy to say "new" is relative, but it doesn't make your case that it's irrelevant.

I guess we'll see on Saturday what the company means by "new". If what they share isn't new, isn't impressive, or just repeats what so many shareholders are already familiar with, then if the share price drops, maybe you can take that opportunity to jump back in at a lower price. Lucky you.

But I'm pretty sure you are smart enough to know that even though this "new" information is not affiliated with ASCO, it does not mean it's not worthy of ASCO. It simply means they didn't have a new abstract to submit for ASCO by the time the deadline came about - Feb 3. And I'm sure you know the Direct data was complete by then. But for some reason, the company wants to present some new data on Direct for an hour in an exhibition theater at ASCO. They also had an Exhibitor Spotlight Presentation booked at AACR... but they didn't webcast that presentation. In fact, they seem rather bent on investing their money on lengthy time slots in impressive theaters at these prestigious cancer meetings.

I wonder what the meaning is behind that? While some of you may think it's all for a good "chuckle" or two, I don't. I read more into it than that. But we'll see, won't we?
