More FYI.... I know that a lot of TAs will give you that response. But only if the company hasn't told them it's ok to give out the O/S when asked to. Berthold never asked them to, which is to be expected from a man such as him.
But if he had asked them to give it out, like some CEOs do, they would. That's how it works.
If you ask the people at Manhattan, they'd tell you that. So, it's never the TA that's keeps shareholders from knowing the current O/S. It's the CEO.
You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
