Tim Huff stated very clearly today that Sanswire II will be tested in the 30,000 to 40,000 range because if it can withstand the higher winds at that altitude, it will do fine at higher, less windy altitudes. I stand by my earlier post that somewhere I read a comment from a source at GTE (I thought it was Huff) which stated that Sanswire II would be tested at 45,000 feet. I really don't see much difference between "40,000 foot range" and 45,000 feet. The point is that Sanswire II will be tested where the winds are the most severe.
