Which Saleen cars would be sold in China?
Mustangs,?Barracuda's?Challenger's,?Tesla's?
Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge and Tesla will not allow
Saleen to distribute their cars in China.
The cars have to be sold and distributed by authorized dealers.
The dealers have agreements with the mfg
which are very involved , like warranty pricing, recalls, registration, pricing limits (high and low).
You cannot just take American made cars , load them on a ship and start selling them in other countries.
The cars Saleen is bringing to the Chinese car show are one off used vehicles.
If Saleen starts taking Chinese orders for Mustang's , Barracuda's, Challenger's or Tesla's
they will get sued into the ground by these US Automotive Manufacturers and the US government will not allow them to export these vehicles out of the country .
Every country has it's own laws and emissions requirements.
Saleen is a tuner not a manufacturer. Saleen cannot represent Ford, Chrysler, Dodge or Tesla in China.
They are not qualified and they did not design or Mfg the vehicles .
