Why almost all receivables would be round $1K numbers. Companies selling goods have invoices that are not in round numbers, and so are companies selling services billed by the hour.
And why the odd $662 receivable is staying on the books for so many quarters. A receivable aged 90+ day should generate an accounting provision for bad receivables in normal accounting.
The non-explanation that "only even thousands of the receivables were carried forward" does not make any accounting sense to me.
