I wonder what this Dwarvish fellow used to hypothesis (sounds like he reached a conclusion) that EPA is not dose dependent past a certain threshold. If it was based on Jelis the only thing would be the all-cause mortality (which was the same in both groups), hopefully not the fact that some of the efficacy of EPA was deemed non-significant --- which you correctly described as being a result of the underpowered nature of the study.

I know of a few things that once they reach a saturation level or threshold provide no further benefit but by far and away most substances are dose dependent.
