She pulled out all the stops right before my trip. Which I knew she would, but this time I was ready with a plan.
She told me she couldn't stay in the place she was at, so I shocked her by giving them notice at her assisted living home, moving her out today and found a new place closer to my home.
But this is the best part.....I knew she was planning a another death bed scene before I left, so I had new clothes, a wheel chair (used) and a second set of everything that she would need delivered to my sister's house.
So when I told Mama Terrorist that she would be staying with my sister while I was away and everything has been taken care of...She said "I can't sleep in any other bed but my own"
I said.."No problem Mom, your bed is being delivered the same day you go to your daughter's house"....
I put her in the car, kissed her goodbye and said
" MOM, you're going to be good while I'm away right?"
She looked at me and said NO!.....LOL
