Trading both before and after the decision is a mystery. Barring a few moments of frenzied trading, the price and volume are behaving as if nothing happened!

So I am wondering: "Did anything really happen?"

Was the timing of Microsoft's filing of possibly impaired assets just a coincidence? Or had Microsoft anticipated an ITC loss and decided: "So what?" Since MMO's Devices unit is a money-loser anyway, could they have decided to not fight the import ban and make IDCC fight for any damages owed?

This post is intended to stimulate a discussion, not to excite the usual suspects into a "He is a short!!" exclamation. Even though my holdings are less than half my peak hodings, I am still very much a long.
