I am well aware the market cap remains the same. I am talking about future price appreciation. You misunderstood me. Shares outstanding do matter to increase market cap. going forward. The market cap will appreciate more with less shares than more shares with the same income. The shares are being increased , so they can reduce debt, and for future cash when they need it, since there cash flow is weak now( as per CBAI).Also, Red Oak needs the additional shares to convert their PFD.
