Raf ..why do you think we benefited at anyone's expense.

Pre Obama those with pre existing conditions were often denied insurance coverage . Many denied affordable access ended up in emergency rooms as their only option ..often the most expensive care ...and when they couldn't pay , who do you think paid ...me and you and everyone else.

Societies are IMHO better off when everyone has at least some access to basic healthcare coverage .
