An appliance behind a firewall? Who cares? It's ridiculous - every single company with data keeps that data behind a firewall. And an appliance is just a fancy term for a server that performs a minmum set of tasks.

Of course crooks get access to the data anyway, but that's another story.

SSO? Who cares? Everyone does that.... Hadoop? Who cares? It's just an open source distributed NOSql database.

The important thing is the execution, and Yippy doesn't seem to have any of that.

They may have had valuable stuff 5 years ago, but that was 5 years ago.

And which is Yippy - a "cloud company", an appliance company, or just a guy trying to pump up share price?
