Where did the money come from to purchase the wheels, front fascia, rear fasica and other components for the 2015 black Saleen GTX customer's car being delivered?

The money came from customer deposits. Part of the $1.1M
received by Saleen and spent.

How could the Red Foursixteen be on loan to Saleen or be a customer's vehicle per the requirements to get Manufacturers license plate? :( Isn't this impossible?

The Mfgr's license plates are hanging on a hook
in Saleen's shop. The Saleen mechanics put one
on any time they drive the car on the street or take them
anywhere. They are taken off at the shows and traded for
Saleen branded (Black) cardboard inserts. The license plates on the photographs
have nothing to do with ownership of the vehicle.

So then does this mean other automakers who use manufacturers plates don't own their vehicles either? Or does it just apply to Saleen?

Most dealership do own
their demo vehicles with the Mfg Plates, but it not uncommon
for them to use those plates when they take a customer's car out
for a spin. If the get a speeding or parking ticket it get's mailed
to the dealership or Mfg rather than the customers home.
How would you like it if you left your high performance vehicle
at a dealership and 30 days later a ticket showed up in your mailbox?

Wait a minute how did the Saleen Tesla project get past a sketch and drawings anyway?

Tuning one or two Tesla's you do not even own
is no claim to fame. Saleen needs to Tune and ship 85-90
cars per month just to break-even and that assumes a $10K
gross margin on each car shipped.
It is laughable to me all this discussion and arguement
over one or two or even ten Tesla's (dream on) when
Saleen has zero chance of ever making a profit on tuning
Tesla's. Saleen will never do even 10% enough tuning to
ever make a dime on this model. The only way to make
any money tuning cars is volume. The overhead and front end
capital investment is way too high to just produce 50 cars per month .
Saleen needs 90 cars per month and they are producing an average of 9
per month. They are not even in the game.
Saleen has no budget adherence, you can see
how they blow the investors money on frivolous good time
auto events designed to keep Steve's ego fully inflated.
