IBM Acquired Vivisimo to get Velocity - not Yippy. Velocity turned into Watson after it was acquired by IBM. So IBM would have zero interest in Yippy, they are not competition.

Yippy acquired Clusty.com from Vivisimo in 2010, NOT Velocity.

Here's the 2010 PR from Yippy - no mention at all of Velocity - because Vivisimo kept it, and IBM got it when they bought all of Vivisimo in 2012 - I think the claim in the current quarterly might be false.
