01/08/15 World Surveillance Group Subsidiary Appoints Dennis DeMolet President of Global Telesat

Military Veteran to Provide New Leadership for GTC
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 01/08/15 -- World Surveillance Group Inc. (OTC PINK: WSGI), a developer of lighter-than-air unmanned aerial systems and provider of satellite communications services, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Global Telesat Corp. (the "Company") has appointed Dennis DeMolet as President of the Company and a member of the Board of Directors effective immediately. Mr. DeMolet, a retired member of the United States Marine Corp., is an experienced business owner and a leading expert on small business and veterans' business affairs. He is a member of the Regional Board of Directors for National Military Intelligence Association International, is a member of the Board of Directors of VETFORCE, and was formerly the Chairman US SBA Veterans Business Advisory Committee.

Mr. DeMolet has over three decades of business experience within Fortune 100 companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, Hughes Aircraft, Panasonic Computer Corporation and Raytheon Corporation. Mr. DeMolet has been selected Ohio's most outstanding disabled veteran and had received many awards and accolades from various groups including the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Veterans Administration Center and the US Small Business Administration. Most recently Mr. DeMolet received the John Lopez National Pillar of the Movement Award for Service to Veteran Businesses in recognition of his lifetime accomplishments.

Glenn D. Estrella, President and CEO of World Surveillance Group, stated "On behalf of our subsidiary Global Telesat, we are all extremely excited to welcome Dennis to the GTC/WSGI team. He brings enthusiasm, business experience and broad contacts throughout the military, veteran and government agencies that we hope to leverage to expand GTC's satellite communications and tracking business. Following WSGI's recent deal, we intend to focus both on the growth of GTC's business and we believe we have taken the first step towards this goal with the appointment of Mr. DeMolet, but also on the advancement of the development of our Argus One airship in concert with the Ohio Lighter Than Air UAS Consortium, of which WSGI was a founding member."

Dennis DeMolet, President of Global Telesat, stated "I look forward to actively working with the GTC/WSGI team and those at Trident Aerial Recon responsible for day to day operations at GTC. Our goal is to expand Global Telesat's satellite communications and tracking business by directly accessing and leveraging my broad contacts in government agencies, defense and veterans networks, not only through website, Amazon and EBay store sales. We intend to be proactive in our selling efforts to expand GTC's customer base and its satellite tracking business."
