For what its worth, here is my experienece
With this type of situation. A few years back, I sold a "restricted" stock dividend in my Schwab account. The trade went through. Its either a few hours later or next day, I got a call from Schwab regarding this mistake. Schwab reversed the execusion and took proceed/money out of my account. I did get my 29.99 fee back. LOL I didn't lose or gain anything.
Now I am with Ameritrade, I am not sure if they will extend the same courtesy. Therefore, I didn't sell any. Instead, trying to buy fresh shares off this momo. To the moon Alice, I hope, wish and pray. I want my fresh shares to go to the moon so I wouldn't care if my restricted shares ever materialized. LOL
