“The answer is simple. The New Testament was not even started to be written until 130 AD. It was written from hand me down stories, and plenty of people took a lot of liberties. I have talked to a lot of monks about this who dedicate their lives to figure out the real truth. “

Revelation, the last book of the New Testament, was written by John in 95 A.D.

The Bible is not written from hand me down stories.

You are taking liberties that may cost you your soul.

It does not take a monk to know the real truth. It may take a monk to artfully twist the truth. Read the Bible. It IS the truth. The truth in the Bible will set you free.

For additional reading, I suggest reading what the ancient church fathers wrote. They were people who knew the Apostles, and the people who knew the Apostles. What they wrote follows closely with what is in the Bible. They fought against the Gnosticism and cults that threatened the church. Few ‘liberties’ were taken. That Gnosticism is taking over the church today.

Here is a good book to start with:
“Ancient Church Fathers, What the Disciples of the Apostles Taught”, by Ken Johnson. Give a copy to the monks.
