So ... I actually have time to answer the question this morning.

Some of us actually work long hours.

The answer is simple. The New testament was not even started to be written until 130 AD. It was written from hand me down stories, and plenty of people took a lot of liberties. I have talked to a lot of monks about this who dedicate their lives to figure out the real truth.

Many of them are conflicted, but they do believe that Jesus is the example and basis for how we should our lives.

To answer your question ... do not believe everything you read on any printed page.
