Thanks to all who provided some information to me about how proxies were handled with their brokers. It was very helpful.

The company I deal with, subcontracts out the brokerage responsibilities. Within the last 6 months they transitioned from one surrogate broker to another surrogate broker and that accounts for some discrepancies in my IRA accounts.

Brokerage is working to resolve.
