LiquidMetal would be the ideal material for the hull of a warship or submarine, would it not?

It is not a good fit for submarine hulls. First there is no process to make large LQMT parts at this time. Also, texturing LQMT is not a benefit, since all military subs have special coatings applied to the hull. Hulls need to be black and low drag.

Black for stealth purposes.
Low drag for speed. 30+ knots for Ohio class sub.

Same as car panels. You won't see LQMT in submarine or ship hulls.

You could ask Tom in the next conference call if they are looking into this. I believe he would agree with me.

I stand behind my statement that the use of LQMT will be small as compared to other metals.
