When is short interest updated?

NASDAQ OMX short interest is available by issuer for the past 12 months and updated twice a month. Short interest data is reported on mid-month and end-of-month settlement dates. It is then released on a dissemination date after 4 p.m. ET.

Guess we will have to wait to the end of the month or early into next month. Yes this gives them time to cover a short position. But it does not mean there was no shorting. Otherwise the OTRC short report would have said 0. But feel free to tell us all again...
