Banana, I'm like Poop, only here because of my investing in CES. I agree with Poop in that CES has "no money", HOWEVER, they have been in that state for some time and are still kicking, so SOMEONE is financing them. I believe John Banks was probably 95% to having the "perfect" competitive product a few years ago. It wasn't good enough though, and he (the board) decided in '06, to stop production and go for 'all or nothing' with the new version. He could not have foreseen back then, the problems he has faced in getting those last 5%. But I believe he (and therefore PYCT) are now ready to launch.
Did the previous versions of the product work? YES, my wife used the British version (priced at 50% premium to regular brands). The Canadian version (bought at a Walmart in the States (mid range pricing)) and a "sample" of the Chinese version sent by Tom way back when. I still have that sample box.
