Things to keep in mind when trying to compare the LM knife with other Knives,

LM will NOT rust, similar Spyderco knives that will not rust cost...

(notice how the full tang daggers cost more than the plastic folders.

The MA knife is NOT a folder it is a dagger with a full tang,

Titanium knives costs more than cheap plastic Gerber junk.

The better the stainless/rust resistant steel, the more expensive it is, LM covers that.
Titanium costs more, LM has that covered.
The stronger the lock mechanism the more expensive it is, the LM knife is a full tang fixed blade.

So stop comparing apples to oranges.
Also consider that Miltner-Adams does have a good reputation for making quality knives that are respected by armed forces, that is priceless.
