Bigger wheels will do NOTHING at all in decreasing HP. Making a statement as such shows little knowledge regarding high performance vehicles and what makes them create the HP that is being stated.

Here is also some info on rotating mass and how bigger helps by pushing the weight out from the center of the hub.

Now, more weight will make a vehicle go slower even with the same HP rating or the exact opposite if it weighs less it will go faster. Aerodynamics is another big factor which is why so much time is involved in the r&d of this and other Saleen vehicles. Again, to make it go faster.

There were no stated figures on what the car that was shown last night would cost, and the California Sunshine paint is a special option and price which will probably cost $25k if I had to guess. So just throwing around numbers that haven't even been stated is irrelevant until an actual stated price and or price sheet comes from Saleen directly.
