Drugs have exclusivity, not indications. The current generic filings are for Vascepa. (Of course the indication should be the same as for V.). Exclusivity start date is the first approval of V: 07/26/2012. As NME till 07/26/2015, as NCE (coming soon) till 07/26/2017. Unless, mentioned by Ajax also, the judge order a new start date (e.g. date of the ruling). However some / most of the patents are valid till 2030.
