hockeypond. Yes.
A friend of mine has a million shares and he sent the certs in. He is with Ameritrade and I don't know if he was charged. At least, you should check into charges, then decide if it's worth it to you. I have an APEX account with Ameritrade so there was no charge for my certs. Check with your broker, then decide. Remember, the theory (belief) is that we are fighting a good cause that will help all investors so, even if you have to pay a few dollars, it's for a good cause.
