You and Most other people on this board have NO IDEA what this is...
Market Makers often "short" the stock for a brief moment before filling it with real shares to be sold.
So eventho they have real stock behind the position to fill a buy, they may temporarily be short (on paper) to fill the order quicker. B/c they are temporarily short (even for a split second) it pops up on this report.
It's becomes an issue when the shorted shares become undelivered, which would then hit on the REGSHO list.
That's not the case here. No Market Maker would hold an open short position on a stock at this price with such a low A/S.
