I totally understand what they are doing, I know its legal....but it is comical that it is allowed to promise what you don't have while knowing that you have something soon that cuts the promised number in pieces and yet not spell it out. That is just so funny, and absurd, and would never pass by Mr. Spock or any functioning brain either. Try to set up such a contract in a pre-nup and the spouse would think your sick.
