WAMU's loan profile originates from their deposit base(188 Billion ?). So even though they have 233.4 billion in their loan profile, doesn't mean that there are not liabilities on the other end of the ledger.

Now, sure, the number grows over their deposit base because of compounding interest, but once JPM took the Deposits, you cannot separate the assets from those liabilities, otherwise JPM 'bought' a ton of debt.

At most there is a difference of about 50 billion from the deposits to the loan profile.

That is in our favor.

But WMFSB also had a sizable deposit collection too, dont remember what that was.
