and your gas.. it works out to about 85 cents CDN, in Blaine Washington, per liter compared to 1.22 up here.

Cigs , on the other hand are around 9.00 / pack or about 8.00 US.. very comparable to most states..

Liquor , on the other hand is far more expensive here.. most goes for taxes, but the taxes collected on liquor and cigarettes still don't cover the cost of health care that those two vices create.
So, while your booze and smokes may be cheaper.. it costs you guys a lot more to repair the damage they do.. it's all a matter of perspective.. you can pay me now or you can pay me later LOL
