Hi Toofuzzy, When you say

I would not start any accounts with less than $20,000,...

are you referring to a single position or a small (2-3 stocks/ETFs) account?

If you are talking a single position, I'll have to wait until I can close out portions of some of the ones I hold now.

MORL, which my mother bought because of a broker's recommendation near a 52 week high, it too big a percentage of the portfolio and too far down from purchase price to do much with now, except wait out the cycle.

I've looked at the TD Ameritrade ETFs, but I noticed on one of the financial web sites that they make their money behind the scenes. I'm not sure of the exact mechanism. Maybe someone here can explain.

Anyway, my understanding is that they are not all that good a deal as they look. I'll try to find out why.
