For the aluminum, magnesium and zinc are added, then jet cooled in molds, (said "jet freezed" in the live cast)

The 18 kt gold is hardened with silver copper and palladium, no ceramic or boride etc.
It is poured into molds for a "hardening process" then milled, then compressed.

The steel is cold forged,

Seems like Apple has a different manufacturing process for each alloy, but the aluminum and maybe gold where hardened by jet cooling/freezing.
